Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of the South Bruce ResidentsAssociation (SBRA) Inc. held on 2 November 2014 at 10:00 am
Present: Dan Clode (Chairperson), David Stephens, Claus Ducker, Ruth Green, Bill Green,
Eileen Dunstone, Shana Uhlmann, Greg Wilson, Peter Wilson, Hal Hay, Henry Chou (minutes).
1. Apologies:
Adriana Vanden Heuvel, Judith Ducker, Greg Dunstone.
2. Confirmation of previous minutes:
Motion to accept the previous AGM minutes of meeting of 24 November 2013: proposed DanClode, seconded David Stephens. Carried
3. Matters arising from previous meeting:
Issues to be covered under Other Business.
4. Presentation and adoption of the financial statement:
Henry Chou summarised the status of current finances on behalf of Sharon Chiang. It wasnoted that while the association was in a better position financially compared to past years,
there was still room for improvement in terms of general fund raising. The Christmas Partyflyer will invite any new residents or current non-members to join the association (one-off$5.00 payment).
Motion to accept the SBRA Financial Statement for the year ended 30 June 2013: proposed

7. Other business:
The committee wish to thank the McGready family for organising last years Christmas Party,and a special thanks to Sophie for all her diligent work, including face painting and musical
entertainment.
Dan indicated that his family will be happy to do the Christmas honours this year, with a
tentative date for Sunday 7 December. A flyer and other reminders will be sent out for theevent. Invitation will be extended to Calvary Haydon Village residents.
Concern was raised with corner vegetation encroaching on vehicle line of sight at T-junctionsbetween Jaeger Circuit and the other street intersections. Residents on street corner blocksaffected are requested to cut back on vegetation on the nature strip if sight lines for vehiclesexiting onto Jaeger Circuit are compromised.

There was discussion on theft of homes and whether there were any surveillance cameras set
up by Calvary Haydon Village towards Jaeger Circuit which may assist in identifying suspects.Hal Hay advised that their system is internal and does not provide views to Jaeger Circuit.
Greg Wilson proposed that the association can proceed with setting up a website and forum
and automate the mailing function so that residents can amend their listing online. Thecommittee considered and agreed to this proposal.
An email with a link to a survey feedbackform was sent to residents to vote on the preferred route we should take. The committeethanked Greg for his suggestions and his continued involvement with system design and
software setup.
David Stephens and Claus Ducker thanked the previous committee members for theirinvolvement and wished the new committee the best for the future.
Meeting closed at 10:45 am.
