Overview:

Saylani welfare trust was founded in 5th may 1999. Saylani welfare is a trust which is working for those people who cannot bear the expenses of food, living etc.

It has 55 branches in 4 cities of Pakistan and also has 48 departments to work for needy people at very high standard.

fulfilling the needs of over 100,000 people every day.

TeamWorkSaylani has 48 departments in 55

prosperous societies. In which they have made a team. That team which has taken every task of Saylani welfare as their mission on everyday basis.

E-Welfare Service:

Saylani has a department of I.T (Information Tech) where they record every transaction of donation. And also work as a customer relation service. And give instant replay of any query via e-mail.

Saylani Schemes

Asan Rozgar Scheme:They provide sources to all those

people who has not enough sources to fulfill their needs.

In 2012-13 they provide it to over 35,000 people

Bila Sood Karzay:They provide loan to needy

people with 0% interest.

Rickshaw Scheme:They also provide rickshaws on

loan with 0% interest and also provide in affordable installments.

Thaila:They also provide Thaila (Stall) to

the needy ones.

Saylani Ka Daster Khawan:

What Is Saylani Ka Dastar khuwan It is the biggest section and department in

saylani welfare trust.They started saylani ka dasterkhawan in

2000 at that time they used to provide it at very small scale.

over 60 places are reserved as the sailani ka dasterkhawan and at these Saylani ka dasterkhawan

over 63,000 people come and eat and that is how they fulfill their needs providing

Ration:They also provide food on

monthly basis to those female (Who are widowed etc)

Appreciation From Pakistani Government:

Pakistan having so many welfare trusts all over pakistan. The government of Pakistan appreciated the work of Saylani.

Also donated by Chief Minister of Sindh. Not only government but also appreciated by well known personalities of Pakistan.

Are they providing sources to poor only ?

On interviewing them. Our sociology group get to know that if see anyone who is sitting whether he is from good background or bad they welcome every people there. And provide their services with enthusiasm.

Mostly Rickshaw (Who can bear food) has been seen at their dastarkhwan:

After asking this question, they answered it with a positive gesture that we did not question them we welcome each and every person.

Discountable Prices:They provide products on Saylani

store. For example, they provide every product on 20% - 30% discount on each product.

Conclusion:

Saylani is playing a vital role in our society as they providing such facilities to the needy people and on the other hand they also has set up discounts for those people who can't bear much of their food.

Findings:Saylani works freely for humanity they

wont notice or do not even question that who is eating on saylani ka dasterkhuwan

Most of the workers of Saylani are working volunterly.

They are funded by most people every weekly, and every people can donate from every bank all over pakistan.

E- Welfare department creation

Challenges We Faced:Whenever we went outside for shoot we

faced firing and many other problems in case on unrest in city.

We have had lack of convince because of some of our group members does not have car at that moment

STRIKE! This thing made us gone mad… we faced makeup classes so we did not have enough time to make it.

Abdul Ahad’s relative died (RIP)And there are 37 outlets of Saylani so

because of unrest we just visited few outlets. Even, they are not giving us permission to shoot or take any picture.

And the last one is time clash.
