and shop. Hopefully you will all take time just to relax and enjoy

your families and friends. The weather has been good and we hope

all of you are good as well. Eileen and I wish you all a Very Merry

Christmas and Happy New Year. We wish you good health and laugh-

of Trees! November 24–26 Maryland State Fair-

grounds

Kick off the holiday season at Festival of Trees, a three-day, family

event featuring more than 700 uniquely decorated trees, wreaths

and gingerbread houses created by talented individuals and commu-

nity organizations.

Festival of Trees also features live entertainment, 100 seasonal mer-

chants and SantaLand—the ultimate fun zone for kids, including a

carousel, "reindeer" pony rides, carnival games, a remote control

racetrack and, of course, Santa!

Honor Branch has had multiple tests. The closest they

have come is a connective tissue disorder. Honor will see

yet another doctor in December as they seem to have

narrowed things down. Meanwhile, Bill suddenly

developed a hemorrhaging nose bleed which ultimately led to a hospital

stay. The cause was very high blood pressure. Bill is now home on medication

and doing well.

Dan Brooke, longtime member of the Paint & Powder Club, experienced

another mini stroke and is in Powerback Rehabilitation at 515 Brightwood Rd.

Lutherville, MD 21093. He loves phone calls at 410-494-4543, or on his cell

phone at 410-302-7695. They cheer him up during lonely days.

Jack Phillips underwent a total hip revision two weeks ago in an effort to

prohibit any further problems with his hip popping out of place. Jack is

recovering well and wishes everyone happy holidays.

Kim Silverwood, the wife of Ross Silverwood, Harry and Doris’ son, passed

away on October 28th, while she was in rehab following surgery, complicated by

her lifelong diabetes. Ross, and their daughter Kristen were hopeful for her

successful recovery, and all were looking forward to moving to their new home

in Crisfield. A Memorial Service was held on November 18 at First Presbyterian

Church of Annapolis. Prayers for Ross and Kristen who are coping with their

unexpected loss.
