Stroll on one of I I nomed noture trails

TrailsThere are I I named nature/hiking trails withinthe Preservex totaling approximately threemiles in length. The terrain from the upper tothe lower portion of the Preserve drops morethan 200 feet in elevation with 900 steps/stairsbeing built into some trails, making most ofthese trails unsuitable for biking. Two handi-capped accessible trails are also offered.

The Annex provides more than eight miles ofnamed trails* suitable for hiking, jogging ormountain biking and four additional mountainbiking/skills only areas.

Water Features

Two spring fed lakes are located within thePreserve. The upper lake, known as the HighLake which served as the water plant reser-voir, has been stocked with fish. Waterhlls/cascades created by springs and lake overflowsare popular backdrops for photographerswhile youngsters and the young at heart enjoyplaying in the streams.
