FoodexSaudi 2014Welcome to the review of the 2nd edition of Saudi Arabia’s only exhibition dedicated to the Food and Beverage industry – Foodex Saudi 2014.
Organised by Reed Sunaidi Exhibitions and Under the Patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, inaugurated by HH Prince Khalid Bin Saud Bin Turki, Deputy Chairman of Technical A�airs Presidency of Meteorology and Environment, Foodex Saudi 2014 took place at Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events from 17th to 20th November 2014.
Foodex Saudi 2014 presented 138 exhibitors and over two hundred international brands from 29 countries, including Greece, Mexico, Palestine, Italy, Thailand and many more. This year’s edition welcomed more than 5000 unique visitors and 78 hosted buyers from KSA's HORECA, food retailing, food service, grocery, distribution sectors, who attended over 300 business meetings onsite.
This year's exhibition featured Salon Culinaire, a professional chef’s competition endorsed by World Association of Chef Societies and Saudi Arabian Chefs Association, which showcased the skills and talents of competing chefs from several leading hotels and restaurants. The Saudi Food Forum 2014 brought in international delegates together with food industry leaders, and included exclusive discussions and live demonstrations from the leading brands, retailers, and food institutions.
