music from Russia, Scandinavia, Germany, the Balkans, Greece, Israel, and the US.
Meryl Lee Corcoran; Gary Breitbard; Ned Gault; Jena Rauti; Pete Showman; Sue
Ellen Porter; Dave Bogdanoff. Until 8pm.
8:00 Waltz, Swing, and Ballroom Dance! with The BRASSWORKS Band -
Frank Beau Davis, Music Director. The Band consists of Tuba, Trombone/
Euphonium, French Horn, and two Trumpets, doubling on Cornet, Flugelhorn and
Piccolo Trumpet, plus a Drummer. The Brassworks performs a wide range of
musical styles: Renaissance, Baroque, Classical & Romantic, folk & fiddle tunes,
marches, Ragtime, Dixieland, blues, swing, rock, Motown, Latin, Broadway show
tunes and concert works. They're wonderfully versatile! Until 10pm.

8:00 Tipsy House - Fiddler Kevin Bernhagen, concertina / flute player Jack Gilder, and guitarist Richard Mandel willprovide some of the best Irish traditional music to be found in the Bay Area.
8:40 Tony Marcus & Patrice Haan - Violin and guitar soloist and vocalist Tony Marcus joins Patrice Haan, who has a beautiful, haunting voice to sing some of great songs of the first half of the 20th century.

Evening Dance: 3rd Floor Gym
7:00 Contra Dance! Modern American line dance, with flirting and cool
moves. No partner needed. There will be an open band and multiple
callers (currently Jim Saxe, Lynn Ackerson, Charlie Fenton, Susan
Petrick, and Nick Cuccia). Folks who want to play in the open band
might wish to attend the dance band workshop that's scheduled from 4
to 6. Dancing goes until 10:00 PM.
