BEGINNERS’ RETREAT DAY

“ Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11v28)

Using this well known verse from Matthew we will be spending a day finding rest and nourishment.

It will be a day especially for those new to retreats and quiet days but also suitable for anyone wanting to spend a

day being nurtured. Time to enjoy some silence and being open to God.

Time to explore different ways of praying. Time to rest and relax.

Try prayer using pattern and colour with paint, crayons or felt tips; you’ll be surprised to see how God can speak through them. You will be able to enjoy this day whether you have artistic experience, amazing artistic talent, or

none of these; just come and have a go.
