WINNINGS

• On the 25th of July 2009, Sarah won the World Championship in Adelaide, Australia in both Elite Women and the Elite

Cruiser Woman's events.

• In the 2008 season UCI Rounds, Sarah won seven races.

• She was ranked number one in the world by the UCI in 2008, and was one of the favourites to win the BMX women's event

at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

• Sarah also won silver at the 2012 London Olympics :)

FACTS• Sarah isn't afraid to get dirty on the track but when it comes to

events Sarah can go from dirty to totally glamourous.

• As well as competing in BMX events around the world, Sarah has also been a sports ambassador for Beef + Lamb New Zealand

since 2008.

• She is a sponsored rider by Avanti Bikes, using their line of ABD BMX bikes when racing.

• Sarah started BMX in 1999 when she saw her her brother Matt, riding one day.
