COPY CONTROLS

Copying Control is one o the control parameter in S!" #ecauseo $hich $e are a#le to create one document $ith reerence tothe another document%

&or e'ample" $e can create a Sales order (OR) $ith reerence toa *uotation(*T) %

, $e $ant to create a document $ith reerence to anotherdocument then they must #e present as a pair in the Copycontrol ta#le%

(T3NN) should appear as a deault% The system shouldnot carry out item category determination in the order%

• 6hen the item category in the source document is not

supposed to #e alid or the target document%

place or credit memos or third-party orders (89S)% Thereore" the system should use item category T3S8 asa deault since it does not determine cost" rather than

• 3ccording to the routine you speciy" the system chec1s that certainsales document item 2elds in the source document meet the rightconditions% , they do" the system copies them into the targetdocument%

Procedure

• !epending on the type o document to #e copied" the systemproposes a routine or chec1ing copying re/uirements% , you $antthe system to use a dierent routine" you hae the ollo$ing choices:

• You can enter the identiying num#er o an alternatie routine

• You can change the routine itsel and chec1 or speci2c conditions(ho$eer" #eore you change a routine" you should 2nd out $hereelse the routine is used" so that you aoid un$anted changeselse$here)

• You can enter the identiying num#er or a ne$ routine and thencreate the routine through ta#le maintenance%
