Wipro “Production” upgrade to SoH PoC Lab

The POC Lab is setup using best practice from all Vendors, Certified by SAP & aligned to the Wipro SoH Centre of Excellence

Wipro have the facility to inject Users to simulate Production Load, to record & playback recorded Customer Scenarios & to publish an official SAP & chosen Hardware Vendor Certified Benchmark, in support of a “Safe Passage from ECC6 to SoH”

Wipro have partnered with CISCO & NetApp to create a Proof of Concept Lab at Mountain View, CA, which can be used by customers

The POC Lab is setup to facilitate a customer experiencing the “Full Lifecycle” upgrade from ECC6 to SoH, using a copy of the Customer’s Production Data ( or a copy of a SAP Instance with anonymised data)

For the POC Lab to give a realistic view of true Production Performance, Wipro’s

preferred approach would be to use a “copy” of the Customers Production data, in order that the Benchmarks generated

by HP Load Runner are as “real as possible”

Wipro have extended the SAP Upgrade Methodology to incorporate the SoH Cookbook, Wipro specialist tools to identify customisation & enhancements, additional Project Tasks to Optimise User Experience & extended tasks to incorporate archiving of data, together with additional tasks to incorporate functional & non functional testing – End result is a Safe Passage Project Plan, guaranteed to deliver a migration to SoH

Execution Wipro’s Centre of Excellence have invested in training highly experienced Consultants with the additional skills required to deliver a precision executed plan guaranteed to deliver a migration to SoH

Testing & GO LIVE with Hypercare

Wipro have extended the Testing Service to incorporate the additional testing required for a migration to SoH. Once cutover to Production is delivered, Wipro have extended their Application Management Service to incorporate additional operational “Run SAP Service” procedures to guarantee an efficient SoH Production Service.

the last ten years. BW / BI7 “business content” has now been

superseded by SAP HANA LIVE, in the context of Real-time Reporting. Wipro have invested in training SAP Business Intelligence Architects in

traditional SAP Reporting to Advanced SAP HANA LIVE

Reporting migration.

The latest SAP HANA LIVE offering & underlying HANA

database are ready to incorporate “external data” to enrich Real-time Reporting.
