– TOEFL 480 (paper-based) or 56 (internet-based) or– IELTS 5.5 or– Successful course completion at a partner English Language

4. Official bank verification showing a minimum of $20,500 to cover tuition, fees and living expenses for the first year

Housing
Option 1: HomestayInternational Student Placement (ISP) has successfully placed thousands of international students with host families. ISP hosts are personally interviewed and selected for the program. Complete application form here: http://isphomestays.com/college-programs/Option 3: Rent an apartment or a roomThe rent of a one bedroom apartment ranges between $1100 and $1,500 per month. A furnished room ranges between $800 and $1200 per month. Students must be prepared for additional costs of utilities, (gas, electricity, and telephone). There is a required security deposit of the first month rent (may be refundable).
The San Mateo Colleges do not offer on-campus housing/dormitory. Below are some of the options for housing:
