Established in Korea in 1972, Samyang Optics Co., Ltd has developed and manufactured a broad range of high-quality optical products. Samyang Optics produces highest-quality optical glasses, industry optics, spyglasses, photo lenses and filters. The company is also globally recognized as a supplier of high-class optics made for the purposes of Closed-circuit television (CCTV).

Over 10 years ago the company began to specialise in the production of lenses and photo-accessories, it released its own brands and soon conquered all Western markets. Samyangs portfolio includes high-quality manual lenses with mounting systems compatible with photo-cameras produced by all major manufacturers.

The Samyang Company has designed series of V-DSLR cine lenses tailored for all people filming with DSLR cam-eras. Cine models are fitted with rack compatible with the Follow Focus system. This allows smooth and accurate rotation of focusing ring and the aperture rings. Additionally, the aperture ring has no click stops for smooth and noiseless rotation.

Samyang lenses proved to be fantastic with open apertures, in 4K recording, they give sharp images, evenly distribute beautiful colour, and can be eas-ily combined with lenses produced by other manu-facturers. To take some pictures we use wireless Follow Focus system which works splendidly in all Samyang lenses.

The Samyang V-DLSR cases are a solid transport and lens protection. They provide a proper security against dust, water splashes, impacts and mechanical damages.The cases are available in two sizes. The bigger one house a set of six camera lenses, the smaller one is designed for three V-DSLR lens models.

Samyang lenses are great on the filmset, especially when the fast-paced production is required. Work ergonomics outstrips other photo lenses. Samayng smashes - focus rings were a bullseye hit!
