The center is within the territory of the 10-20 year vision plan of the RiverFirst proposal set forth by the Minneapolis RiverFront Development initiative and is strategically placed to keep the RiverFirst vision moving northward. Passive strategies designed in the shape and orientation of the building were used to minimize energy consumption.
