SAM eLLIOTT

My aim is to become a clothing designer for a high street company, utilising my idea development skills,

fashion sense and excellent Adobe software ability. I am organised, flexible and able to meet deadlines in a fast

paced environment. I am extremely creative and confident, enthusiastic and dedicated to tasks set; as well as

being capable of working independently and within team.

EXPERIENCE

Label Photographers

Loughborough University - Oct 2010 – April 2011

Tasks Set:

• Photographing the front cover for ‘Label’

(University Magazine)

• Photographing various events to feature in the

‘Label’ magazine

• Opportunities to compete with other

photographers for our image to be chosen as

front cover, which subsequently I won

• Photographing club nights at the student

union

I have learned to work to briefs and deadlines set and

raise the standard of my work to compete with others

as well as working within a team. I have also learned

to improve my work based on critique given to me

and learn the basic steps of creating a publication.

Play Worker - April 2010 – July 2011

Lantern Lane Primary School – After School Club

Duties and responsibilities:

• Organising games and activities

• Ensuring children’s safety

• Looking after vulnerable children

• Dealing with injuries

• Preparing and making sandwiches

• Setting up equipment

• Maintaining a safe and tidy environment

From this I have learned to be patient and the

ability to multitask. I have learned how to deal with

and resolve difficult situations as well as having a

positive attitude at all times.
