The Flagler Volleyball program

has given me great playing

experience and has helped me

physically and mentally.

Dear Friends, More than 200 student-athletes, on 14 different teams, represent Flagler College in intercollegiate athletic competition. These student-athletes consistently distinguish themselves as leaders in athletics, academics, and in the community. Your membership in the Saints Club provides an opportunity to show your support of their efforts, which ensures the continued excellence of Flagler College Athletics. Saints Club members are vital to our mission of developing and supporting student-athletes, building and maintaining championship programs, and providing student-athletes with outstanding experiences at Flagler College. Saints Club contributions provide resources to enhance our athletic programs by funding major capital projects and improvements to existing athletics facilities. Contributions also provide funds for items that are not normally covered in the athletics budget, including special equipment, apparel, or unique team travel opportunities. As we look to the future of Flagler College Athletics, the Saints Club and its members are vital to our success. Thank you for your consideration and continued support. If you are not a member of the Saints Club, please consider joining today – at any level. You will make a significant difference in the lives of Flagler College student-athletes.

History and Importance of the Saints Club

Since its inception in 1973, the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Flagler College has been developing exceptional athletic teams and individual scholar-athletes who have achieved remarkable feats, garnering national and global recognition. Offering 14 teams, comprised of more than 200 student-athletes, Flagler College Athletics is more vibrant than ever before.

Flagler College was a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), from 1977-2006. During those years, the Saints reached extraordinary heights, winning seven national championships and many conference championships while producing high-achieving scholar-athletes and numerous All-Americans. During this time, many Flagler athletics programs were ranked nationally, often reaching rankings as high as top five in the country.

In 2006, Flagler College joined the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and became a member of the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) in 2009. In its short existence in the PBC, Flagler Athletics has gained recognition and esteem immediately, demonstrating high levels of competition, character, sportsmanship, and academic accomplishment. Athletic facility improvements and enhancements have taken shape during the past few years, excelling Flagler Athletics to new heights and prestige.

With groundbreaking facility enhancements, sustained academic success, and highly competitive athletic teams, Flagler College Athletics will continue to be a leading force in the NCAA D-II and the Peach Belt Conference.

Sincerely,

Jud DamonDirector of Athletics
