Fr. John Paul’s Spiritual Brew
L ife breaks into our chaos and invites us to come home! “Emmanuel” is what
echoes above everything throughout these December days of Advent and Christmas. Advent's invitation is to slow our inner and external pace - to hear the beating of our hearts, minds, relationships, and spirits. The longer nights remind us that the true light of the world is already present, and offering us guidance in our questions, struggles, finals, and peace-seeking. May the spirit of this season echo the reality of "God with us." May you be blessed over these days of crisper sunrises, and cooler nights. May you know the peace of the Word made Flesh, as well, as the Light that illumines the world. Grace, Peace, Hope, and Joy, Fr. John Paul Forté, O.P.
