Sahara is a lovely 8 year old, imported Friesian mare in the highly sought-after Stam 50 line. Her
sire is one of the most highly decorated stallions, Folkert 353, who has been named World
Champion Friesian Stallion 3 different years! She was imported from Holland in 2006.
She has had 3 foals, a Keuring Champion colt, Valor, by Lolke 371, a 2nd premie filly by Tietse 428,
and a filly in 2009 by Monte 378
Sahara is very lovable, affectionate, and has a very good work ethic. She gets along very well with
other horses. She has been in full-time training with the world-known classical dressage trainer Jec
Ballou for 16 months and is currently schooling First Level dressage exercises. She is in excellent
shape, open to breed, and a very easy keeper. She trailers, loads, bathes, etc. Her care has been
phenomenal. She regularly receives the same body treatments as the US Equestrian Team horses do
that help her advance her development and maintain the best fitness during her training. She comes
with a Lifetime Membership in USDF. In addition to Classical Dressage training, she throws excellent
