School mass violence attacks are very rare:
● Extremely Low Probability - Extremely High Impact● 60 Million / 60 Thousand kids go to school and come home every day● More children are murdered every year by their parents than in all mass
killings since 1966 - 500/176 (CNN; Washington Post)● 2015 suicides - ages 4-15: 413; ages 15-24: 5,491 (CDC)● Most children will go K-12 never seeing anything more violent than a fist fight● Most teachers will go their entire career and never be exposed to mass
violence● Any guesses on how many K-12 school attacks with 5 or more killings?
