Welcome

It is with pleasure that I am waiting to meet you again for our 3rd edition of the Zimmer Biomet Symposium. We believe in it, 2021 will be the year of reunion and shared conviviality!

After turning the page on an unprecedented 2020, we are proud to offer you, in close collaboration with our scientific presidents, Drs.Alice Guyon and Emmanuel Gouët, a program whose theme is at the heart of the news: Safety. More than ever, compliance with the rules of safety, hygiene and welfare is at the heart of all our actions and all our concerns, both professionally and personally.

We want to be a partner of choice for you and your teams: our collaboration is based on trust and a close relationship. My teams and I are committed to providing you with innovative and secure solutions on a daily basis so that you can practice under the best conditions, in order to guarantee quality of care and serenity to your patients. We have worked with the Maison de la Mutualité teams to welcome you with the greatest respect for barrier gestures, so that this event can once again become a place of scientific and warm exchanges, which is the base of our corporate culture.

The close work of our scientific presidents and our Marketing team has created a 2021 exhilarating program. The diversity of experiences and the complementarity of our speakers will allow you to deepen your knowledge and enrich yourself with new human connections.

Our scientific committee, your sales managers and I are expecting you.

Sincerely,

Ann Verledens

3rd SYMPOSIUM ZIMMER BIOMET DENTAL 3

When Zimmer Biomet entrusted us with the scientific presidency of the Symposium, our first intention was to formulate a unifying, contemporary and relevant common thread in the medical field. We have agreed on a theme that brings together under one banner all the components of implantology: safety and its corollary, risk prevention.

This requirement weighs notably in the balance of the expected therapeutic benefits against the risks incurred. It integrates all the treatment’s phases, from diagnosis to follow-up, and contributes, like the effectiveness of our protocols, to ensuring appropriate care for our patients.

The current period has led us to postpone the Symposium but has strengthened us in our conviction that health is a collective issue on the part of health professionals, patients involved in treatment and the biomedical industry, which should allow us to use devices offering an optimum level of safety and reliability.

Thanks to the specific speakers’ profiles, the Symposium brings together the different components and sensitivities of care. The secure approach is thus combined with each theme, by taking a reasoned path that excludes excessive caution or risky choices.

Inevitably, the conferences will end with a presentation of the main complications encountered as well as their management.

Through these two days of sharing and discussion, we hope to explore with you the essential areas of implantology in order to stimulate, strengthen or consolidate your daily exercise ... with complete peace of mind.
