Main parts of the 60 mm mortar bomb are the bomb body, ejection tube with flare and parachute and the fin stabilizer assembly. Bomb body consists of the steel body and the ejection tube. The ejection tube includes the ejection and ignition pellet from pressed black powder and flare (light emission generator) with parachute assembly. The ejection tube mouth is closed with a cap. Calibre fin stabilizer is screwed to the rear part of the bomb. Plastic fin stabilizer ensures reliable lead of the bomb in the barrel and bomb stability during flight. Stabilizer comprises duralumin pressure case with six fins made of highly resistant plastic material processed by pressure injection method. Primary charge is placed in the pressure case enclosed by the primer screw P-1. Augmenting charge enabling higher range values is attached to the stabilizer. In case of a short-distance operation this charge may be easily removed from the mortar bomb stabilizer. Mortar bombs are delivered to the customer filled with both primary and augmenting charges sealed in water-proof plastic case. Mortar bombs are packed in a wooden case, each case contains 10 mortar bombs.
