We also organize private chef services, cooking classes, private transportation, small civil and symbolic weddings, trekking tours. We are renowned for

arranging offers with tickets to Teatro del Silenzio for the yearly event by Andrea Bocelli in Lajatico and for offering vespa tours including the visit to the

Piaggio museum that is very close to us. Our office is in the territory of Terricciola, in the countryside between Pisa and Volterra, near Lajatico and near

the vespa town.

This is where we operate, in an area called さTerre di Pisaざ that is very representative of the Tuscan countryside. It is a small area of Tuscany where you

find a wide variety of interesting combinations of typical Tuscan tours in a matter of few kms. And this fact is unique! There are no other parts of

Tuscany that can offer so much within few kms.

F12. CHEESE TASTING TOUR Visit an organic cheese farm near Volterra and taste their delicious cheeses.

Meet the family of Giovanni, cheese producers for generations, who started

their business in Sardinia and brought their knowledge and expertise to

Tuscany over 50 years ago. Today they are one of the best organic farms in

the territory of Volterra. After visiting the sheep shed and the milking facility,

the guide will show you the pasteurizing room and the aging cells, revealing

the secrets for making a great organic cheese and explaining the methods to

F23. BOLGHERI WINE TOUR Bolgheri: a destination for those who want to sample exclusive wines,

different form the classical Tuscan wines. Bolgheri is a little hamlet and a

wine area famous for its さ“upeヴtusIaﾐざ ┘iﾐes aﾐd foヴ the DOC Bolgheヴi. We

will visit two representative wineries of this district that are completely

different from one another. The first one is right in the middle of the town, an

ancient castle dating back to the 13th century. Their historical cellar was built

at the end of the 18th century and excellent wines are produced there since

then. Here you will taste their 2 top wines and learn about the long history

of the place. This second place is a small family run business located outside

in the countryside. Here you will taste 4 wines perfectly representing the

wine production of this area, on whose soil international grape varieties such

F16. HAPPY FARM TOUR: SAFFRON, OLIVE OIL & WINE

TOU‘ AT ALE““IOげ“ Alessio is the owner of a tiny and charming farm producing a lot of different

delicacies that are icons for Tuscany: wine, olive oil and saffron. Alessio and

his family show their farm to visitors who want to taste all their delicious and

authentic foods. It will be like being in a family as you meet Nonna Maria,

who lives there, before accessing a tiny cellar and walking through the

hundreds of olive trees of the property. You will also stop at a small field

dedicated to one of the most precious and expensive products of Italy:

saffron. You will learn about how they cultivate saffron flowers and how to

use saffron in the preparation of dishes. Finally, you will taste two wines and

the olive oil of Alessio, made with different varieties of olives, and you will

B. COOKING CLA““ AT ‘ITAげ“ FA‘M Rita and her family welcome you at their rustic farm in Montefoscoli, where

you are taken back to the atmosphere of the good old times.

There you will see free running chickens and other farm animals around and

you will enjoy a panorama on the Tuscan hills with a great view on the town

of Peccioli. All cooking classes include a visit to the farm and to a hidden

gem, just located behind the 200 years old farmhouse.

‘itaげs farﾏ is the premises of the Iookiﾐg sIhool さM┞ TusIaﾐ KitIheﾐざ, an

ideal place to cook together traditional recipes and breathe fresh air in a

G1. LARI, PASTA, CASTLE & PROSCIUTTO TOUR A half day to discover a typical Tuscan hilltop town and its treasures, a

good e┝aﾏple of ┘hat the destiﾐatioﾐさTerre di Pisaざ Iaﾐ offer to

visitors.

In the tiny medieval village of Lari we will first visit the renowned

Martelli Pasta Factory operating since 1926 and located just in some

historical buildings of the town. You will meet Dino Martelli and his

lovely family. Everyone here works with passion and with a big respect

for the traditional way of making pasta. We will understand their

philosophy of life and their approach to work and understand why their

pasta is so special and good for you. Then we will move to visit Castello

dei Vicari, dating back to the XIV century, right in front of the pasta

factory, dominating the town center. With our guide you will visit an

ancient prison, an old court room, a frescoed hall and admire the inner

court with coats of arms of the most important families of Tuscany in

the past centuries. Before we walk down and reach the local bar where

to taste a local cherry liquor as aperitif, ┘e ┘ill stop at a loIal HutIherげs shop and meet the butcher, who will show us their red brick walled

cellar, where prosciutto and salamis are cured. We will learn how they

make genuine meats and prosciutto using traditional techniques and

only natural products. A rich tasting of their salami and prosciutto is

G14. VOLTERRA & WINERY TOUR Volterra, what a treasure! A hilltop town with over 2000 years of

history. It is used as setting for many historical movies because of its

fascinating atmosphere, which brings you back to the Middle Ages or

the Renaissance. Volterra is also the most important town in Tuscany

for learning about the Etruscan community, the population that first

settled into the Tuscan lands, before the Romans arrived. All this is a 2-

hour stroll among tiny lanes and stunning views. Before heading to a

family run local winery for wine tasting and lunch, you will have also

some free time for shopping in the center. At the winery, the wine

maker will open their cellar for us, for an interesting and educational

wine tasting experience, with stunning views on the Tuscan hills.

the famous singer. You will visit the center and discover the many

contemporary works of art that match perfectly with the historical

butchers of Tuscany. Here you will have a great lunch on their

J6. GRAPE HARVEST EXPERIENCE During harvest time, you are welcome to join local farmers in their

vineyards and learn how to pick grapes to produce a great wine.

In the company of our expert guide and the winemaker you will

spend some time in the vineyards sharing many phases of the wine

making production. You will pick grapes by hand, see the

destemming activity in the cellar and the pump-over of grape juice

that turning into wine.

We offer you a great hands-on experience at a real Tuscan

vineyard including a visit to their wine cellar, wine tasting and a

olives together with a local farmer and his family. For one day you

will enjoy a complete agricultural experience including picking

olives by hand and visiting a running oil mill where the olives

The tour includes also a very interesting comparative olive oil

tasting at the mill and a rustic lunch. Learn how a great extra

virgin olive oil is made and change your approach to the use of it in

home? This is absolutely easy to do! Our specialized staff will come to your

accommodation with 6 different wines from our Tuscan area and will give

you information about the history and philosophy of each winery and the

features of each wine. Some bread and cheese are served to accompany the

wines. The selection we make for you is as follows: two white wines, one

basic reds, two aged reds, 1 top of the gamma red wine. In this way you will

enjoy a large spectrum of what is available in the region and you will be able

to taste the several flavors and aromas. We will select wines made with both

autochthonous grapes like Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino or Vermentino

F25. OLIVE OIL WORKSHOP AT YOUR VILLA Do you want to get immersed in the traditions of Tuscany by simply sitting in

the comfort of your Tuscan holiday home? Yes, this is possible! Our expert

and knowledgeable guide will come to your place and share with you

everything you need to know about one of the symbols of Tuscany: extra

virgin olive oil. When we say extra virgin olive oil, we mean local culture,

traditions, history, heritage and lifestyle. This is what it will be all about. We

will organize a comparative olive oil tasting session in the dining room or on

the terrace of your villa. You will be able to recognize the difference

between a quality olive oil made with love and care and a commercial one,

put into the market as a mass product. Two aromatic olive oils will be tasted

too, with flavor of lemon or chili pepper, garlic or orange ... Some

bruschettas are included. In case you choose the full meal option, a chef will

E. CATERED MEALS AT YOUR VILLA The best way to enjoy Tuscan food in a relaxing and comfortable way is

having a local chef cooking for you right in the kitchen of your holiday

home. One of our selected and experienced local cooks will come to your

villa with fresh and seasonal ingredients and cook a delicious meal for

you. You can comfortably sit in your living room sipping some local wines,

while waiting for dinner to be ready, or you can enjoy the day out for a

tour, while the chef is preparing your meal, ready upon your arrival. The

service is available for lunch or dinner, any time.

The cook will bring all fresh ingredients into your kitchen and prepare

the whole meal on site using the equipment provided by the villa and

bringing any extra tool, if necessary. The cook, an authentic Tuscan

Mamma or Granny with a big passion for cooking, will create for you the

same dishes she prepares for her family, making you feel like home.

For example, you can book a typical Tuscan menu with 2, 3 or 4 courses.

The menu list we provide contains all typical Tuscan recipes that will be

prepared onsite for you.

Alternatively, you can enjoy an informal and fun pizza party, ending with a

sweet pizza as dessert. If you are a pasta lover, you can book a fresh

pasta-based meal, with delicious sauces. A nice grill party is an option too,

with fresh salad and a dessert. If you have a special occasion to celebrate,

IMPORTANT: Our cooks are friendly local women who cook for our guests like at home for their family. Rather than fancy food, it will be family style food and

only traditional recipes will be prepared. Our cooks will arrive with all fresh ingredients and start the preparation onsite, then the meal will be served and they

clean up everything after the service, leaving the kitchen and the dining room in order. We offer in-home chef service and we are not a catering company. We

will have our own materials and tools to prepare food, but we will basically use what is in the kitchen of the guests' villa to set up the table and serve the food. In

the price of our catered services the rental of tables, chairs, cutlery, glasses or plates is not included, but it can be added to the booking separately, if necessary.

- Please, make sure the owners/managers of the villa allow us to access the villa and the kitchen. Sometimes they do not welcome external cooks in their villa.

- Please, make sure that we can access the villa at the time agreed. Extra time spent waiting for someone to open the villa will be charged on your card.

- Please, leave the kitchen clean and free from your personal belongings such as phones, sunglasses etc. so that the cooks can immediately start cooking, without

wasting precious time in cleaning or tidying up the kitchen. Extra time spent to clean the kitchen before the service starts, will be charged on your card.

- Please, make sure beforehand that the kitchen is equipped with a suitable number of tableware for the number of people in your party.

- Please, be in time at the table sticking to the meal time indicated at the moment of booking. Delay will be charged as extra.

- If there are any food restrictions or allergies in your party, please share them with us at the moment of booking. It is important to know it in advance to assure

everybody can eat without any risks or problems.

photos, from group photos, to couples and personal ones. Best moment is

late afternoon, before sunset, for the beautiful light and lower

number of photos is around 75- 100. Every picture will be professionally

P1. HORSE BACK RIDING WITH CARLOTTA IN LARI A lovely excursion in contact with nature, funny horses, sweet ponies and

patient instructors. The property is a family run farm near the little village of

Lari aﾐd itげs ideal for families with young children. Beginners riders are

welcome. Carlotta and Anna will meet you and spend with you half an hour

or more, if necessary, to get familiar with the horses. The itinerary will be

decided according the expertise level of the participants. It will be an easy

P3. CARRIAGE TRIP TO THE NATURAL PARK OF SAN

seated on a typical carriage pulled by horses, as a private ride. The location is

the Natural Park of San Rossore near Pisa. You will be brought through the

forest, the dunes and up to the sandy coast, with view on the Tyrrhenian sea

CANCELLATION POLICY

In case of cancellation by guests, they are requested to contact Arianna & Friends immediately.

In the schedule they can find the percentage related to the entire amount of booking that will

be retained as a cancellation fee depending on the number of days preceding their activity date.

NOTE ABOUT NEW CANCELLATION POLICY DUE TO CORONA VIRUS.

From March 2020 we accept cancellations exclusively due to the Covid19 emergency with no penalty and

full refund within 4 weeks prior to the booked service. For cancellations in the 4 weeks prior to the booked

service we will maintain any credit valid for future bookings with Arianna & Friends with no expiration. We will issue a voucher of the same amount that can be passed to other people as well.

We will comply with any indication provided by Italian authorities regarding the possibility to provide our service.

DATA PRIVACY POLICY

The tour operator and travel agency Arianna & Friends Srl (here define as the T.O.) through the websites Ariannandfriends.com and through this catalogue complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regolamento Europeo n.2016/679). Additionally, the T.O.
