Following the name change of German parent company, Daicel-Hüls Ltd. changed its name to Daicel-Degussa Ltd.Aboshi Technical Center was opened.

Degussa Hüls AG marged SKW Stroberg AG and changed its name as Degussa AG.

Hüls AG joined with Degussa AG and changed its name as Degussa Hüls AG.

Aboshi Plant obtained certification of ISO 14001 (JQA-EM1229).

Aboshi Plant obtained certification of ISO9002 (JQA2481)

Daicel-Evonik Ltd. was established in 1970 as a joint venture of Hüls AG(currently Evonik Industries AG),Germany and Daicel Chemical Industries, Ltd. (currently Daicel corporation)Daicel-Evonik has gone on to develop excellent functional polymers such as DAIAMID, VESTAMID, VESTOSINT, TROGAMID and othres. Furthermore, the lineup has been expanded by adding C8 and C12 monomers, PLEXIGLAS, VESTAKEEP, ROHACELL, and EUROPLEX.Daicel-Evonik strives constantly to enhance its product quality and characteristics through a fresh perspective and the infusion of new ideas.
