How I will teach the rules…

when the students arrive to class for the first day I will show them a power point with all my rule on it. After the power point the class will play a game. The game is one student will be the teacher and the class will pick a bad behavior to do and the teacher will have to name what rule the bad behavior is.

I put the students in groups of fours so the students can work together and help each other out. I put the problem

student by my desk so I can keep a close eye on him. I put the excelling students with the ESOL and ESE students so they can help them out. My desk is at the back corner so I

can see all the students.

How my classes will handle the following daily situations Passing out papers

One student from the group will come get a papers for the group from me

Turning in papers

One student from the group will collect all the papers from the group and turn them into the bin on the turn in table.

How my classes will handle the following daily situations Bathroom breaks

At the right time the student will ask me to use the restroom. If the student is allowed to they will get the bathroom pass from the turn in table.

Sharpening Pencils

When a student need to sharpen his/her pencil they will go to the turn in table and sharpen the pencil ONLY if I am not teaching or if a student is talking.

Dismissing Class

The class will work bell to bell and stay in their seats until the bell rings.

Reward system:

I will make fake money, each fake money represents one dollar. Student will earn the money when they follow the rules, answer questions correctly, or good behavior. I will have a self of candy, snakes, etc. for the students to choice from. Different rewards cost a different amount of money depending on what it is. At the end of class the student can buy from the self

Steps: 3 warning, stay after class, call home, referral.
