In this Rsno season 10:11 we will encounter some of the greatest works in the symphonic repertoire: music that has truly ‘stood the test of time’. Please join me, the orchestra, Chorus, Junior Chorus and our stunning guest artists as we journey through 250 years of great music, from Bach and Handel through Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, sibelius, elgar, Rachmaninov, shostakovich and so many more... a quarter of a millennium of fine music!

what’s more, now that the rich and vibrant opening decade of the 21st Century is behind us, we will also be exploring some symphonic works from the last ten years that we believe will stand the test of time; music that will be with us for many years to come. we have chosen excellent compositions from composers whom you may know – James MacMillan, John adams and Guillaume Connesson, for example – but also from some
