    GENERAL COMMENTS:

    (1). Mafic flows generally similar to those seen stratigraphically overlying felsic volcanics in drill hole I.DM-99-02; They may bo calc alkalic and possibly andcsitic;

    (2).No distinct markers recognized that can be correlated with dh. LDM99-02 and therefore unable to estimate depth to felsic volcanics. However, this hole has apparently not vet cut the 30m thick more basic (basalt-like) unit which immediately overlies the felsic volcanics in dh LDM99-02 and therefore it is likely this hole will have to be deepened more than 30m to reach the felsic volcanics.

    Structure; massive, or with flow-like bands and/or 'pillow ribbing'; Up to a few "/oamygdules with calcite, chlorite +/-qua^tz; Moderately to strongly fractured with sections of broken core; Fractures at 10" - 0"; at 45" and at 1 300 ;

    Alteration: minor light grey silicification along 'pillow ribs' fe some fractures;Minor light green mica (sericite?) in some fractures and a little jasper-like veinlets here and there;

    Mineralization: tr fine grained Pv, minor rust/gossan on fractures: Isolated tr Sphnoted at 32.1 and 33. 5;

    Remarks: a few, 1-2 mm vugs Si small cavities-probably due to weathered-out calcite;
