Building Your ERG Why? Who? How? What?
What is the purpose of building this entity? Why do you want it to be an integral part of your organization? Think outside the box.
Organizational support matters. Executive champions, buy in from senior leaders, employee engagement are all an essential part of successful ERGs.
How will the formation or advancement of an ERG grow and impact your corporation? An ERG shouldn’t exist just to gather like-mined individuals. There should be a larger, holistic purpose.
What is the “North Star” of your ERG? The mission of the ERG should play into the goals and objectives of the organization. Having quantitative goals make an ERG invaluable to an organization.
