Ifamediumwithsufficientflowrateflowsfrombottomtotopthroughaver-ticallyinsertedmeasuringtube,thenthefloatedelementisraisedsofar,andtheequilibriumbetweentheliftstrengthofthemediumitselfandtheweightofthefloatedelementisadjusted.Sincetheaverageflowrateisproportionaltotheflowquantitypertimeunit,thedeterminedequilibriumcorrespondstotheflowvolume.Flowmeterswithsolenoidfloatedelementscanbeequippedwithlimitvaluecontacts.
