OVERVIEW

The Introduction

We are pleased to submit this proposal to U.S. Department of Defense for purchase of Evade Zombies Suits (EZ Suits) and ZRIG accessories – See Figure 1-1 and Figure 2-1. This proposal will discuss the problems of the zombie apocalypse in our communities, the systematic method for surviving the zombie apocalypse, state our qualifications, and conclude with a cost-benefit analysis. There are ethical implications and a social responsibility in purchasing and distributing EZ Suit to all survivors as this project will save not only lives, but also humanity!

The Background

We have been living in a zombie apocalypse for approximately a year, giving Rosenbluth Research and Development team time to prepare for zombie life forms. After careful research, scientists have recently concluded that the zombie infection came from a mutated version of rabies. Since our infrastructure has begun to crumble, the surviving population is decreasing, and the zombie population is increasing, it is imperative that the U.S. Department of Defense purchase and distribute the EZ Suits and ZRIG accessories to all survivors.

Our friends and families have become automatons devoted to spreading the Zombie Rabies virus or have abandoned civilization to go into hiding in hopes of surviving the horror. We refuse to go into hiding. A few brave companies are diligently working together to help save our civilization and support its foundation. We are fortunate enough to be one of those few companies. Through our hard work, we have discovered the cure to the Zombie Rabies virus. We are now ready to administer it.

This is our reasoning for the development of the EZ Suit. Without the EZ Suit, zombies will continue to dominate the streets, hunting for anything living until there is nothing to save. Our suit can heal the broken fragments of society that have been left by the desolation of the undead.

The Purpose

The Rosenbluth Research and Development team has completed the beta testing of the EZ Suit. We have recently integrated suggestions and comments from military personnel and have done the following:

• Improved the quality of the EZ Suit – See Figure 1-1.

• Developed a cure called Zombie Rabies Immune Globulin (ZRIG). To develop the cure, scientists modified the Human Rabies Immune Globulin antibiotic, changing the name to ZRIG, and ensured that the Zombie Rabies virus was not resistant to the antibiotic. We concluded that the ZRIG antibiotic is most effective when the zombie consumes the antibiotic orally.

• Developed a ZRIG utility belt, with an attachable 2.22 litter spray bottle, containing ZRIG. The spray bottle is easily detachable and can be sprayed directly into the mouth or an open wound of a zombie during an attack.

• Developed ZRIG replaceable, insertable gel pads that are saturated with ZRIG and when bitten, zombies can easily consume the cure – See Figure 2-1.

• Added a guarantee that the product will protect and save the life of every human being that wears it when the consumer uses the EZ Suit with either the ZRIG utility belt or the inserted ZRIG saturated pads.

We are now ready for the production and release of EZ Suit. Therefore, the purpose of the proposal is to provide an update to the U.S. Department of Defense about the development of EZ Suit and the immediate need for their support so distribution of EZ Suit can occur timely to all survivors.

Rosenbluth Research and Development Team will need full financial support from the U.S. Department of Defense to distribute EZ Suit worldwide, and to minimize economic limitations that could negatively affect supply and demand and prevent Rosenbluth Research and Development Team from taking full advantage of improvements in technology and production.

The Project Plan

The Solution

Rosenbluth Research and Development Team has developed EZ Suit and the Zombie Rabies Immune Globulin (ZRIG) cure as a solution to surviving the zombie apocalypse. We recognize the importance of releasing these solutions immediately to the U.S. Department of Defense and to the community.

Most importantly, we also recognize that the human survival rate is increased by 45% when EZ Suit is used with the ZRIG utility belt and/or ZRIG insertable gel pads. No EZ Suit test had virus transmission or fatality. These enhancements make EZ suit a lifesaving piece of equipment. The Zombie Rabies virus is spreading rapidly and the EZ body suit can protect human bodies from zombie bites and administer ZRIG; thereby, curing zombies. Not only is our product saving the life of the operator but the lives of the cured zombies. This means of cure distribution is essential to revert as many citizens as possible. We can no longer kill zombies. We must cure them. Our suit is the key to reversing the apocalypse. The Objectives of the Plan

The objective of the plan is to secure funding for the production of EZ suit and to manage deliverables properly to ensure timely release of all deliverables.

Deliverable Description

EZ Suit

Bouligand Weave: Our exclusive bouligand weave is based on the mantis shrimp’s chitin. Their super strong clubs are molecularly unique, allowing microfractures or bending within the material while maintaining its integrity.

Composed of lightweight, plate-reinforced Kevlar, woven in our patented bouligand weave, our full-body suit cannot be penetrated. The body suit contains the following:

• a protective collar • extra carbon fiber plating on exposed body areas • wicking layer • speaker • first aid kit • tactical knives

ZRIG insertable gel pads Insertable gel pads that are saturated with ZRIG and when bitten, zombies can easily consume the cure.

Safety Information: Although EZ body suit is lifesaving, users still must be careful. Just because it is bite proof does not mean you want to take on an entire horde of zombies without other means of defense.

The gel pads are saturated with about ½ liter of cure, which

lasts for several weeks.

Our suit is better than our competitor’s suits. We are able to conclude that our suit is best because of the analysis of the data collected from beta testing combined with the comparison of features and cost per suit! It is imperative that you not delay!

The Number of Features on Each Suit chart shows the number of features available for EZ Suit in comparison to Hazmat and Riot Gear Suits. EZ Suit has the most features for survival. The Price Per Suit chart shows a comparison of suit prices. The EZ suit has a moderate price; however, it provides the consumer with the most features available and is the only suit guaranteed to save lives. Whereas, the Hazmat suit, which offers some features, is incredibly overpriced. The Riot Gear is the most reasonable suit; however, it lacks many features.

QUALIFICATIONS

Description of Team’s Personnel

The Rosenbluth Research and Development Team consists of Jenna Romero, Mariela Munoz, Matthew Storey, and Jarod Peterman. The team consists of diverse team members that specialize in microbiology and chemical engineering. We are strong-willed and committed to ending the zombie apocalypse and to rebuilding the infrastructure of society. We all have a high level of education and extensive training to, successfully, develop a body suit that not only gives protection to the user, but also releases the cure. Together we have a total of thirty-two years of education. Additionally, we have spent almost the entire year of the apocalypse researching and studying the biology of zombies. Our research and development team was one of the first to invent the cure for zombies by manipulating the rabies vaccine. Our research led to an effective oral cure and a higher yielding vaccination, which is effective and produced by the liter. The antibiotic must be administered orally to zombies. Our team assisted throughout the experiment, and were instrumental in producing the Zombie Rabies Immune Globulin (ZRIG) antibiotic. There is no other team that offers the quality and safety we are giving to consumers. Our team’s qualification exceeds all other teams. There is no other team that can say they developed the cure. We are the best chance the world has for survival. Our primary objective is to save the world. Therefore, we are asking very little with respect to profit. Rosenbluth Research and Development Team is part of New Mexico State University. We use cutting edge technology to produce products that make the world a better and safer place, while also eliminating the zombie threat. Our University was founded in 1888 with the sole purpose of growing young minds and providing individuals with the skills to obtain a job within the real world. We still believe this to be true, but now our main job is researching and aiding the rest of the world in fighting against the zombie plague. Our military deserves the best; therefore, we have provided the greatest research team at New Mexico State University to take on all problems in eradicating the zombie infection from the face of this earth.

With our patented techniques in Kevlar weaving, we are able to produce the EZ Suit. The EZ suit is our greatest accomplishment, and contains all the technology our workplace has to offer at an affordable price. This suit is the ultimate protection for anyone going to combat the zombie menace. It is our hope that the military will see the importance our research has brought to the world and the effects we have had on all of our fellow country-men. Our facility is amazing and our staff is highly prize and accredited with many breakthroughs within the fields of science. Our equipment is state of the art and the best money can buy. All of our resources have been put together to make a suit that the military would love to have.


Description of Previous Experience

Jenna Romero: Received a B.S. in chemical engineering from New Mexico State University. Afterwards, Jenna received a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from University of California at Berkeley. Jenna became a professor at New Mexico State University, leading the Rosenbluth Research and Development Department Team.

Mariela Munoz: Received a B.S. in Biology. Mariela has worked for Rosenbluth Research and Development Department Team for 10 years. Over the last year, her primary focus has been to research and study the behavior of zombies.

Matthew Storey: Eight years of schooling, receiving a B.S in Microbiology. Matthew made the first breakthrough in development of Zombie Rabies Immune Globulin (ZRIG) cure. Matthew leads the researchers regarding oral cure development and delivery.

Jarod Peterman: With a B.S. in Microbiology, a B.B.A., and a PhD. in Applied Bio-Technology, Jarod is well versed in the hybridization of microbial substances and equipment. Jarod has worked with Rosenbluth Research for 4 years, working on countless projects like the EZ Suit.
