Guidelines for the Cleaning and Maintenance of Room Divider

So you’ve purchased Screenflex

Room Dividers for your facility...

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

And now that your room dividers are doing their

awesome job, it’s important to know how to clean them!

To preserve the long life and appearance of your quality

dividers, Screenflex recommends some simple

care and cleaning tips.

FABRICAs with any fabric, a small area

should be pre-tested when applying a cleanser.

Avoid excessive brushing or rubbing of the fabric surfaces.

For oil or grease spots: a blotting technique is usually enough to remove stains.

FABRICFor general dirt or grime spots:

Sponge the fabric with the foam from a mild, room temperature water based detergent or upholstery shampoo.

After cleaning, rinse fabric with a clean sponge.

Avoid over saturating the panels!!!

FABRICAllow the panels to dry before

closing and storing.Occasional vacuuming or lightly

brushing fabric panels is recommended.

If fabric is extremely soiled, consult a professional furniture cleaning service.

VINYLLightly rubbing the vinyl with a

cloth, sponge or soft nylon brush, moistened with a solution of clean water and a mild soap detergent or non-abrasive cleanse should do the trick!

Towel dry the vinyl panels after washing.

Steel Frames, Casters and Hinges

Steel frames require very little, if no cleaning or maintenance.

Give casters a quick spray with a lightweight lubricant once a year.

Spray a soft cloth with the same lubricant and lightly wipe down each divider panel hinge.

Just follow those simple steps and your room dividers will look their

best for years to come.
