All is possible. The name speaks for itself. This brand seems to be the perfect following of its creator’s history. Born in a wealthy family in South Africa, he hangs out in the Johannesburg ghettos before his parents send him to a boarding school in Switzerland after a violent aggression happened to his twin brother, who was mistaken for him. Aged 18, he leaves the boarding school and joins as a sailor in St-Nazaire, France. He remains a sailor for about 2 years, crossing oceans and discovering all sortsof new cultures. It will be in Indonesia, on the Maluku islands that he finds himself a new passion for tattoo art.

Arriving in Los Angeles in 2005, he revert to his first loves : skate and bmx, all the while tattooing in parlours here and there. He can’t stop travelling and ends up in New York in 2009. He becomes part of the organizers of illegal parties taking place in the subway corridors of New York. That’s when he comes up with the idea of creating a brand that represents his lifestyle. All along his life, he met a large amount of people that told him he was making the wrong choices and that he would never achieve anything. He now proved that they were all wrong.

Lindworm was built to be as universal as possible, with a width of 114 mm and a length of 530 mm. Forged neck for an unfailing resistance to shocks and improved production linearity (never a single mistake of angle during the production). With its weight of only 1370g (with brake and axle), this deck is one of the lightest decks out on the market. But it also has a great balance, mainly forward, giving it a superior spin. The aluminium alloy used is 6082 heat treated (T4/T6) which is 10% more resistant than 6061 which is usually used in the conception of high quality decks.

In order to create the merrow fork, we used 7075 T4/ T6 forged aluminium alloy which the strongest existing aluminium alloys. It is generally used to answer to extreme pressures and forces. As the extreme strength of that alloy makes it impossible to weld, the fork is forged into one single piece of aluminium, then treated to limit the number of weak points of the part. The use of that very strong material allowed us to dig into the alloy in order to make it as light as possible. With only 228g, it is today the lightest scooter fork on earth. Merrow integrates steel spacers for a more durable rolling, and a headset ring to make it easier to mount on decks with integrated headsets.
