One important objectives of a school is to be able to

discipline and control their students. The idea of discipline in

schools is not put across a single point of view, about the

appropriate definition of school discipline, but to bring together

different opinions and attitudes. Discipline is very vital because

the children are not constitute has leaders of tomorrow, they

therefore become the focus of attention, so has to make the

reader given, the background on which to base his own

conclusion, Barry turner regarded discipline as one of the most

controversial topic in education so as to develop them.

The most important agent that sees to the proper

discipline and control of a child are the teachers and families

but today in our society, teacher no longer have time for the

student. For example, when student are suppose to be in class

learning and some sure outside and the appropriate

punishment are not given to them through this process the

rules and regulation of the student being ready to be discipline

and control are not carried out.

So without teachers and the student being ready to be

discipline and have control the society is bound to have

indiscipline youths has the leaders of tomorrow.

With this, it has become necessary to undertake the

study towards the problem of class room control and

management in secondary school.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Classroom control and management add a lot to the

development of discipline in schools and in this pupil. Many

experiment school have tried without success to abandon

formal control and organization of these schools into small

classes filled small classes filled with and teacher who are

willing to dedicate their idea of complete freedom in schools

fails, because children no longer greet have regard for their

teachers and elders.

Control is at the lowest level and that is what the teacher

is basically concerned because there will be no effective

teaching learning without control.

PURPOSE OF THE STUDY:

The purpose of this study is to investigate the problem of

classroom management in secondary school (girls schools)

RESEARCH QUESTION

The following are some research questions to guide the

study.

i. Does cooperation influence the problem of class room

management and control positively or negatively?

ii. Does the level of organization have effect on the problem

of classroom management and control?

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

Discipline as self control and willingness to accept order

as defined by various author one therefore agrees with them

that if children or students are allowed to do whatever they

want to do peace and order will completely be ruled out from

the school. Example in history, government, English language

biology and chemistry there should exist discipline among the

students in order for effective teaching learning to take place.

Discipline is very vital for its involves all the subject in the

school time table and also include the students, teachers and

parents, communities, education, officers, policy makers in one

way or the other. Examples, whenever a child is misbehaving

outside the school premises even though you are not the child

parent or teacher, you have the right to discipline that child,

when you discipline a child you are trying to tell the child what

he/she did was wrong and should not be repeated again.

Discipline is very relevant because it involves both the

teacher and the student personality, cooperation and their

organization. Example, the teacher should have a good

personality and be able to organize his/her teaching very well

and be positive about her teaching
