Camp Anubhav An experiential learning holiday for schools
Camp Anubhav is an experiential learning holiday for 9 – 17 year olds. They perform adventure activities, talk to local people, visit nearby places, learn new skills and acquire fresh experiences. They discover how to be independent and self-reliant, after ‘roughing it up’ in camp activities. By working together in a group and individually, they learn the importance of teamwork; acquire new strengths, and become responsible individuals by pushing themselves physically and mentally.
At Camp Anubhav the days are divided into 5 phases to align the kids with their natural body clock. Each phase provides a specific experience in accordance to Ayurvedic Doshas to enhance different qualities or “GUN” It is this special holiday experience that makes every child Sarv Gun Sampan.
06:00 – 09:00 AM Gun of Waking up Early
This is the time of the day when rigorous exercise, breathing and meditation are most beneficial. Staying active and eating healthy keeps you energised throughout the day.
Morning Exercise - Yoga - Sunrise Trek - Confidence Course
09:00 – 02:00 PM Gun of Working Hard
The best time of the day to get things done and complete the most difficult tasks. The hardest challenges and the most important tasks can be easily completed during this hour.
Tyrolean Traverse - Mountain Biking - Rock Climbing - Rappelling and more
02:00 – 05:00 PM Gun of Creative Thinking
The time of the day most suited to do creative thinking, problem solving or other activities that require brain power. Doing mental activities can reap wonderful rewards at this hour.
Face Paint - Samba - Village Visit - Survival Skill - Juggling
05:00 PM – 07:00 PM Gun of Daily Introspection
The most ideal thing before the day ends is to sit back and reflect. Sitting in solace, introspecting or writing a journal allows learning and prepares for another productive day.
Self Reflection- Silent Hour - Journal Writing
07:00 PM – 10:00 PM Gun of De Stressing
These last hours of the day should be spent doing calming activities with friends & family. Doing relaxing activities such singing, sharing stories releases stress and prepares for a restorative night.
