Usui Reiki is a Japanese technique of hands on healing which restores mind, body and spirit

How is Reiki usually taught?

In Western society Reiki is typically taught is short one or two day workshops.

An attunement process is carried out whereby the Reiki Master passes the ability to channel Reiki to the student.

In Eastern society there is more focus on the spiritual and personal development side of Reiki – students meet regularly to learn from the Master and gradually progress from Novice to Master over many years of instruction.

What are the Reiki Levels? Reiki is generally divided into 3 Levels Level 1 (Shoden) – This is the first degree – the initial

teachings. Students learn the Reiki precepts, history and how to give themselves Reiki as well as how to work with others.

Level 2 (Okuden) – This is the second degree – the inner teachings. Students learn the sacred Reiki symbols and the focus is more spiritual in nature – distance healing is also taught here.

Level 3 (Shinpeden) – This is the third degree – the Master Level – the mystery teachings. Students learn the Master symbol and how to give attunements to others – this is the highest level.

RnR School of Reiki Rocks n Rituals has put together a new Reiki

Training Programme which harnesses the best of Eastern and Western traditions in order to provide a comprehensive training programme.

Debi Barr is an experienced Reiki Master Teacher who has been teaching since 2012.

She has turned her life around by incorporating a daily practice of meditation and Reiki and she works with people every day to help them rediscover their inner light & heal themselves.

What’s Involved? Rather than just provide 3 or 4 one day

workshops throughout the year and sporadic Reiki shares and meditation groups, Debi has put together a structured programme.

Sessions Explained Private Reiki- this is where you receive

one to one Reiki healing with Debi. The purpose is help you heal on all levels as your progress along the Reiki journey.

Group Reiki – these sessions will focus on group healing, Reiki shares, meditations and practice of Hatsurei-Ho and other techniques.

Workshops – these are the classes where you receive the attunements and receive more formal instruction in the ways of Reiki practice.

What is the self-work? After each workshop there will be a

period of 21 days where you will be required to give yourself Reiki and commit to a daily meditative practice to consolidate your learning and to enhance your development.

Between Levels 2 and 3 there is also a 6 month period of practice and journaling to complete before you progress to Level 3. There will be group sessions and private sessions during this time to keep you on track.

Support & Information You will also receive detailed training

manuals and hand-outs. Debi will be on hand to answer your

questions in person during sessions or by email or phone when you are working on your personal development.

The group environment will allow for students to feel supported and will allow a network of Reiki energy to build up which is fabulous for everyone to work with.
