of gum. Bob was born on March 31,1920 to Clarence and Christine Kysar, in Beulah, Wyoming. Bob joined the family of four boys to become the youngest of five. At the age of fifteen, Bob moved to Clark County where he lived for the remainder of his life. During his working years he harvested timber in the woods, where he spent many years working alongside his son Paul. Upon retirement, Bob enjoyed gardening, visiting friends, and watching his family grow. Bob will be remembered by his family and friends as a quiet, gentle man who was always delighted to see a visitor at his door. Bob was a lifelong member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. Many church members will recall the pew where Bob and Bertha sat through the decades, the place the grandchildren knew they could get a warm hug, a bounce his knee, and a half-stick Bob is survived by his wife of 73 years, Bertha; three daughters, Roberta (Jerry) Peterson of Woodland, WA; Sandy (Norb) Halberg of Battle Ground, WA; Patricia (Joe) Molina of Brush Prairie, WA; two sons, Sam (Joan) Kysar, of Woodland; Paul (Mary) Kysar of Harrington, WA, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grand children. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers (John, Jake, Peter), one sister who died at birth, his oldest son Clarence, and one daughter-in-law Marge Kysar. Funeral Services will be held at one o'clock on Thursday September 26th at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Brush Prairie, 16603 NE 142nd Avenue, Brush Prairie, WA 98606.
