U.S. SECRET SERVICE ISSUES STREET CLOSURES AND TRAFFIC

RESTRICTIONS FOR THE 2016 NUCLEAR SECURITY SUMMIT ON 3/27/16 - 4/2/16

(Washington, D.C.) - The U.S. Secret Service is working closely with our state, local and

federal law enforcement partners in planning for and conducting motorcade movements and

security zones for the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit on 3/27/164/2/16 in Washington, D.C.

Although we do not control scheduled events, we always strive to limit the impact on pedestrian

and motor vehicle traffic to make street and highway closures as brief as possible. Despite ourbest efforts, there are occasions where we cause inconveniences to the public due to necessary

security measures. When these situations occur, we do our utmost to make them the shortest

    duration possible.

Maps of street closures for the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit are now available on the U.S.

Secret Service public website in the Press Release section at:

    http://www.secretservice.gov/press/releases/.

The closures are also posted on the Secret Service Official Facebook page at:
