Letter from the Chair
Dear Chamber Members,
As incoming Chair of the Board, I would like to start by thanking you for your mem-bership and involvement with the Chamber. I am humbled to begin this journey and feel privileged to work alongside a strong line of past Chairs and dedicated Board members.
I’ve been a lifelong resident of the Westshore area; grew up in Cleveland’s West Park neighborhood, raised a family (two wonderful children with my delightful husband of 35+ years, Kurt) in Lakewood, and moved to Westlake to hopefully age gracefully in a 1959 ranch. I’ve been a caregiver at Cleveland Clinic for 28 years beginning at Lakewood Hospital and currently serving as manager of community education and operations at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital Wellness Center in Rocky River.
Through the coming year, I am beyond thrilled to support the Chamber’s new(ish) Executive Director, Angela Dudek, who is bringing fresh, innovative ideas to provide our members – both current and future – opportunities to network, grow, and succeed.
Because there is strength in numbers, I challenge you to bring a business acquaint-ance or colleague to one of our events so the experience can be shared and our Chamber can grow! When you are an active member, you become an ambassador and play an important and rewarding role in supporting our Chamber and our com-munity.
In closing, be stronger than your excuses in 2019! Get involved. Join a Committee. Participate in our events – big or small. Begin to establish relationships. Ultimately, you WILL expand your network and grow your business.
