Freelance Design/Build, CAD and 3D Modelling (Full-time and Travel Internships)

Designed and built spaces, products, graphics, and apps for various clients. I have worked on a few residential renovation projects in New York City, Boston, and Budapest, Hungary. I discuss design issues and provide general consulting for those interested in design and design software. 2 of my latest projects include a renovation of a Budapest live-work space for WISE Foundation and a navigation app for firefighters and emergency professionals.

∙ Office Assistant & Draftsperson

Boston Architectural College

November 2009 – May 2015 (5 years) Boston, MA

Assisted the head of interior architecture department in internship. I have maintained the student resource blog with the student development office at the Boston Architectural College. Designed an accessible interior for local The Salvation Army with a team of design students from the Boston Architectural College's Gateway Initiative.

∙ 3D Model Designer

Blackwell Timepieces

November 2011 – January 2013 (1 year 3 months) Cambridge, MA

Designed a luxury timepiece for a start-up company in Cambridge, MA. A military-influenced watch was designed to express some of the most luxurious of material choices. Portions of the profit made from the sale of the watch would support veterans.

∙ Harlem Hospital Intern

HOK

July 2009 – August 2009 (2 months) New York, NY

Worked on various tasks as an intern for the Harlem Hospital project. Entered submittal logs for the CA staff at HOK. Assisted CA staff with email correspondence, site visits, and data entry. Produced space planning diagrams and furniture blocks for design staff working on hospitals.

MBTA FORSYTH PARK TRANSIT HUBSecond Year Design Studio

For this class I observed how people were using this park located between Northeastern University and the Museum of Fine Arts, in Boston, MA. I designed a MBTA Charlie Card Store and Cafe which would amplify the thoroughfare nature of the site.


Visitors would feel the experience of the building is like a park.

The building is design to tucked into the surface of the park. The park is not lost, but enhanced

I observed how people were experienceing the view of Boston from Havard’s Arnold’s Arboretum in Jamaica Plain, MA. I designed a gallery which weaves through the woods. Each wing of the builing features look-out spaces.

I was challenged to design an ADA-compliant structure, for a hypothetical client: a handicapped artist, in 3 hours. I developed this pavilion for a disabled pianist (I decided bound to a wheelchair). The ramping nature of the building’s floor inspired the angular aesthetic.

A road tunnel is to be add to Boston to allow traffice to cut through the Jackson Square area of Boston, returning the primary function of the surface to promoting pedestrian activiy and parks.

Architecture is a reflection of culture, and sustainable architecture is a reflection of a sustainable culture. From the beginning our team has discussed the importance of aiming to achieve not only and sustainable transportation center within a unique city but to create a unique urban experience within an urban setting. Inclusion is our approach to sustainability. We sought to bring together members of the city around a sustainable hub, were they can experience the future potential of the electric plug-in city-cars and interact within spaces adjacent to a headquarter for research in green technologies.

Barcelona is a 24 hour city, and within it we wanted to create a beacon, that shines light on the possibilities of tomorrow. It will be a haven for everyone living in Barcelona, not to mention sustainable drivers, officers-workers and researchers. We provide for the neighborhood an elevated public park with a cafe. People here can enjoy what the public spaces has to offer as well as contemplated about the development of the eco-friendly technologies of today and tomorrow.
