Overview.
Ceridian HCM (the company) is a global product and services company delivering trusted results and
transformative Human Capital Management technology since 1932. Ceridian is a private company. Our
two largest owners are Thomas H. Lee & Partners and Fidelity National Financial. Ceridian has over 80

Dayforce’s solution specializes in all aspects of Human Capital Management: Payroll, Human Resources,
Workforce Management, etc. By building these robust modules out first, Dayforce is now in a position
to complete the entire suite of HCM products, beginning with Talent Management in 2014 and moving
forward with Performance Development in 2015. This method of construction has allowed the entire
application to be unified with no interfaces between modules; as a result, Dayforce has unparalleled
processing speed, seamless data transmission and cohesive reporting capabilities across all modules.
Our immediate plans include the continued launch of our fully-featured Talent Management module,
which already includes Recruiting and Performance Management. Throughout 2016, Ceridian plans to
improve the Dayforce Onboarding functionality to ensure candidates have the best onboarding
experience possible.

Ceridian HCM is a global product and services company delivering trusted results and transformative
Human Capital Management (HCM) technology since 1932. In 2011, Ceridian entered into an OEM
(Original Equipment Manufacturer) agreement with Dayforce to sell the Dayforce Workforce
Management Product. This agreement included an equity investment in Dayforce. The partnership
proved to be extremely successful, with sales far exceeding initial forecasts.
As the partnership’s success continued to mount, Ceridian HCM and Dayforce made the decision to
expand the Dayforce application to include full Payroll, Tax, Benefits, HR and Talent Management
capabilities – creating the industry’s first and only single application for Human Capital Management
with one employee record, one user experience and one rule engine.
In April 2012, Ceridian HCM completed a full acquisition of Dayforce. The acquisition reflected the
companies’ shared goals and demonstrated their ability to operate as a single organization. Ceridian
HCM is now ideally positioned to continue delivering industry-leading technology and innovation across
all of human capital management.

Our offering includes payroll, benefits, workforce management, tax services, compliance, human
resources including Dayforce Human Capital Management and Employee Assistance Programs.
Ceridian’s Dayforce Human Capital Management solution enables our clients to:
1. Reduce overall cost of your labor through better tools to manage payroll processing, timekeeping and
benefits administration.
2. Create one common platform, one complete solution with everyone on one system to assist Larimer
County in driving a strategy of consolidation and process standardization.
3. Ensure compliance to all Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as enforce company pay policies
across all of Larimer County’s locations.
4. Automate the manual processes/tasks currently in place to allow your team to focus on more
strategic activities and to allow for growth without the addition of staff.
5. Automate timekeeping, attendance and scheduling; including absence management, time away from
work request/approval as well as all accruals/balances.
6. Implement tools to automate performance management, compensation planning, succession and
learning management.
7. Improve manager access to data in real time – Managers should have access to critical reports to
make on-time decisions, and be able to see their own employee’s data. Through automated processes
they should be able to perform manager functions, at Larimer County’s discretion, such as promotions,
pay increases, job changes, terminations and other functions that are then work-flowed to the
appropriate department for approval.

range in size from very large organizations with over 50,000 employees, to very small organizations with
fewer than 50 employees.

The Dayforce HCM application has been in production with clients since 2009. However, there are three
release updates each year to Dayforce HCM, which include new functionality based on market demands
and changes to legislation. This timeline also allows us to make incremental enhancements to new
product functionality, and iterate back with our clients to make improvements based on customer
feedback.

provides organizations with access to real-time data and results across all domains of HCM. With one
employee record, one user experience and no interfaces, organizations can find and hire the right
people, process pay, manage benefits enrollment, maintain HR records, and schedule staff with work-
life balance while monitoring compliance throughout the employee lifecycle. Describe your

As a true SaaS application, Dayforce does not perform customizations of the underlying software. All
customer specific requirements are handled by configuration. Our configuration screens are designed
for ease of use, enabling clients to perform a configuration without vendor support.
