CALENDARIO ACTIVIDADES PARA NIÑOS • CLASIFICADOS
Temporada de lluvias, temporada baja como todos los años sucede, pero pareciera, por los comentarios de la gente, que comparada con años anteriores, este 2012 viene un poco más bajo. Por otro lado, Jaco ha cambiado, hay más negocios, mas oferta de productos decorativos, lugares para comer, el teatro y otros artículos que dan una idea que la ciudad puede ofrecer muchas alternativas a la hora de recibir locales y turistas.Pero como es época baja, también es tiempo de prepararse para los meses venideros, ya falta menos para fin de año y esto es un aliciente que en poco tiempo más comenzara una nueva temporada alta.Hablando del teatro y de los cambios de la ciudad, esta es una buena alternativa para disfrutar un fin de semana, aquellos que presenciamos el espectáculo Corazón de Tango que se presento durante el
fin de semana del 28 y 29 de septiembre, pudimos apreciar la calidad, música y baile de esta música que ha cautivado muchísimo público en todo el mundo.Como Argentino, me gusta el tango, escucharlo y verlo bailar, pero emociona porque uno vive tan lejos de la patria y tener oportunidad de presenciarlo, con artistas locales que aprendieron a bailar, que lo adoptaron como espectáculo, poder difundirlo y que la gente acepte y disfrute de ello.Creemos que ha sido una idea brillante, la de tener una sala de teatro, donde se puedan expresar todo tipo de obras, para grandes y chicos, que el publico acompañe este emprendimiento porque es una manera de crecer como ciudad.Felicitaciones al Teatro de Jaco, que sigan los éxitos.Sergio Daniel Ortiz [email protected]

Creating a Patio Oasis
SeclusionYou need an element of seclusion for your private oasis. You can create privacy in a variety of ways. There are many types of decorative fence panels available. You could place these around the perimeter of your patio to make it a more private location. If that project seems too daunting, you can simply add privacy screens to your patio area to make it a more secluded area. Large potted plants can be used to create a semi-private patio area. What's important is that you find a way to make your patio feel like a small world that is totally separated from the activity going on around it.
ComfortYour patio oasis requires comfortable furniture. While the choice of furniture is certainly a matter of personal taste, you should give consideration to items such as an outdoor daybed, single or double chaise lounge or an ultra comfortable single chair or love seat. You'll want to include some tables so that you will have a place for your drink, the book or magazine you're reading while relaxing, and maybe an outdoor lamp.
You might want to include a bistro set in your retreat. That would be a convenient location for early morning coffee, a midday meal or an evening drink.
If there is little or no shade on your patio, you might want to consider using a sail shade to make your patio a more comfortable spot. These shades are durable and attractive. They can add a tropical retreat appearance to your patio area
Accessorize Your OasisPersonal fire bowls or a small firepit would add ambiance to your patio oasis. Add some type of subtle lighting to the area so that you can enjoy your retreat late at night or in the early morning hours. String lights are a possible option for your patio decor. Candles always add a touch of romance and tranquility to an area. Include comfort items such as pillows, rugs and a throw for those chilly days or nights.
Once you've created a visually secluded, physically comfortable patio oasis, you might want to go one step further and add a water feature to your patio. The sound of a waterfall will enhance the relaxation experience. The size of the water feature is irrelevant to its benefit. A table top or wall fountain can be just as attractive and provide the same relaxing sound as a large fountain in an outdoor garden area.
Once you've created your ideal patio oasis, be sure that you designate time to enjoy your magnificent retreat. Your mind, body and spirit can benefit from a little time spent relaxing in a secluded oasis.
With a little creativity and the addition of a few accessories, an ordinary patio can be transformed into a private oasis. You can have your very own personal retreat where you can spend relaxing moments alone or tranquil moments with someone special.

Costa Rica is home to more than 500,000 species, which represents nearly 4% of the total species estimated worldwide, making Costa Rica one of the 20 countries with the highest biodiversity in the world. Of these 500,000 species, a little more than 300,000 are insects.
BiodiversityCosta Rica’s biodiversity can be attributed to the variety of ecosystems within the country. Tropical rainforests, deciduous forests, Atlantic and Pacific coastline, cloud forests, and Mangrove forests are all represented throughout the 19,730 square miles of Costa Rica’s landmass. The ecological regions are twelve climatic zones. This variation provides numerous niches which are filled by a diversity of species.
Butterflies and MothsThere are about 1,251 species of butterflies and at least 8,000 species of moths. Butterflies and moths are common year round but are more present during the rainy season. Ten percent of known butterfly species worldwide reside in Costa Rica.
WILDLIFE OF COSTA RICAThe Wildlife of Costa Rica comprises all naturally occurring animals, fungi and plants that reside in this Central American country. Costa Rica supports an enormous variety of wildlife, due in large part to its geographic position between the North and South American continents, its neotropical climate, and its wide variety of habitats.
