RETROFIT MASTER FLASH®

SELECT and TRIM…Choose appropriate Retrofit. If necessary trim opening to pipediameter.

WRAP…Wrap Retrofit around pipe and install all snap rivets to seal flange.

FORM…Press Master Flash down, bending it to conform to roof profile or roof irregularities. A blunt tool will help press flashing into tight roof angles.

SEAL…Apply silicone sealant between base, roof, and to the top of flashing.

FASTEN…Use fasteners to complete sealing. For UPC installation, fastener spacing may not exceed 1 1/2” (38mm).

INSTALL CABLE TIE…Install supplied cable tie at uppermost part of Retrofit and apply sealant to any gaps.

Flexible BaseEasily forms to contours of roof panel.

Step 1: For retrofit installation, center cut rubberat base of the stainless joiner and pull apart.

Using tin snips, cut the cone to fit pipe, starting opposite the mechanical locking joiner.

Wrap Retrofit around pipe, join the interlock-ing teeth starting from the top and proceeding down.

Squeeze joiner tightly with pliers to crimp, start at the top and work down to the base.

Apply sealant to the underside of the base. Shape Retrofit to roof by pressing the aluminum base to the contours of the roof.

Fasten Retrofit to roof using self-drilling screws, leave no gaps between base and the roof contours.

Apply additional sealant to mechanical locking joiner seam and to all areas that could be a potential leak risk.
