hi! guys am looking for some input regarding retirement

policy for private ltd company. Pls guide me on a urgent

basis. looking forward for some inputs. warm regards,

Retirement policy differs from company to company. Especially

in a private company, it depends on the management to decide

the age for retiring employees.

but in practice, normally, in formulating such policies, the

management will split the retirement into two types, one policy

for non management members and another for management /

executive staffs.

as usual, the age limit for the non management staffs will be

after completion of 58 years. the age limit for the mgmt staffs

will be 55 years. on such retirement, the management may

decide to give extension of service to employees, that too on

the requirement. therefore, if you want to draft a policy on

retirement, first split as I said above and then formulate.

settlement should be made during the last day of his / her

retirement.

this is in short about retirement.

further doubt you may ask.

Thank You Mr. Devrajan as I was also looking for the one.Mr.

Devrajan & Other Friends,In my organisation, there are few

blue collar employees (operators) working more than 2

decades in our organisation. Now they all have reached their

50's but are willing to work till the age of 60-65 as they are the

family runners. They are also skilled in their nature of

work.Now I have to draft a retirement policy for my

organisation. How I should go about.Since it can be made

mandatory of 58 years of age for retirement to all managerial &

non-managerial satff could be an option. In case if we feel the

employee (blue-collar) has to be continued after

retirement...how can we go ahead?
