LC Packaging is one of the largest stockholders and suppliers of wicketed polyethylene (PE) and cast polypropylene (CPP) bags for the packaging of fresh produce. We hold a wide range of bags at all times and as such we are able to offer a next day deliveryservice. Alternatively, we are happy to produce bespoke customer bags and hold them in stock for call off over a pre-agreed period.

Our range of polypropylene films has been designed with packaging efficiency and product presentation in mind. Fromhorizontal or vertical form fill seal machinery to more specialised applications, we are able to offer a range of films to suit yourrequirements. We offer high quality printing of up to eight colours on most substrates as well as offering films extruded in the customer’s colour of choice.

Tray liners can be used to extend product shelf life, reduce the risk of contamination, hold in moisture or simply to enhance theon shelf appeal of the product. Our tray liners can be supplied to the customer’s exact requirements, from perforations, printingand coloured materials to properties that will enhance the life of the product and accommodate pre packing or extend transporttimes.

Conical sleeves and bags are regularly used to pack lettuce, candy, peppers, flowers and herbs. With eight colour print available, V-seals, open or closed bottoms, perforations and various sizing options, you are guaranteed the best possible presentation for your products.

All of our extruded netting is produced to the highest standard, achieving the highest level of BRC accreditation available. Through investment, innovation and manufacturing excellence we provide an unparalleled level of service. The netting we supply is lightweight, robust and versatile.

All our netting is used to pack a variety of products including fruit, nuts, and vegetables. We ensure that they are designed to run with optimum efficiency on all types of packaging machines – both fully and semi-automatic systems.

LC Packaging has been involved in the fresh produce industry since 1923. During several decades as a supplier of machinery for fresh produce we ensured that our offering of materials could match the technology available. As a result we became arecognised provider of quality knitted netting.

We continue to offer quality knitted netting for fresh produce, along with an assortment of sundry consumables including clipping wire, clip-to-clip ribbon and wineglass labels.

Characteristics:• Netting can be supplied in sleeves of 100 to 250 meters• Netting can be supplied on a roll, per 1.500 meters• Netting can be supplied loose in bales up to 4.500 meters• Standard widths are 38cm up to 64cm• Colours include white, golden-metallic, golden yellow, lemon yellow, orange, red, violet, green and brown; or a bespoke colour• Netting is made from HDPE

Also known as Raschel on the roll, LC Packaging has been a leading supplier to the onion, carrot and potato sector for many years. The nets supplied on roll are predominantly for wholesale applications, but in recent years we have produced value pack sizes for 3 to 5 kilo supermarket packs.
