For 13 years I’ve worked to improve the wellbeing of people living with homelessness. Now I’m passionate about using my skills in growing healthy, organic food to help this community produce their own meals, improve health, and develop skills and income through growing food sustainably.

Five years of hands-on aquaponics (a smart, earth-friendly combination of aquaculture - raising fish + hydroponics - growing plants in water) designing, building and managing a 1200 gallon system with greenhouse, and up to 150 tilapia

Sustainable Food Production: Organic Gardening, Permaculture and Aquaponics
With no synthetic chemicals and no waste, on a very modest budget, I’ve been able to grow organic avocados, bananas, basil, broccoli, celery, chives, figs, garlic, ginger, kale, leeks, lettuce, loquats, mangoes, mint, onions, oregano, papayas, peppers, potatoes, rosemary, squash, sweet potatoes, swiss chard, tomatoes, turmeric and more; plus medicinals like comfrey, moringa and toothache plant.
