Currently, I am with Cadila Healthcare Ltd. Division Zydus Animal Health (Veterinary Unit) Ahmedabad, as Head (HR & Admin). Our offices are in India & Germany.I am responsible for all HR activities like Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, Induction & Orientation programs, Performance Appraisals, Policy Implementation formulated by Corporate, Counselling, Welfare activities, Team Building, Personnel function including new joining, MIS, confirmation, transfer, Salary & wages, Statutory requirements like PF, Gratuity, Superannuation, Industrial Relations, Culture building and General Administration etc., for domestic.
Also, responsible to support our HR counterpart based at Germany for uniform HR practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
Strategic HRM Interfacing with Management and Heads of Depts for devising and implementing Manpower Planning, Field
HR Policies & Procedures in line with core organizational vision & objectives. Coordinating for the development of Departmental Budgets and ensuring adherence to the same with an
objective of making HR as one of the profit center. Executing various Policies under the corporate guidelines. Coordinating for implementing best practices in line with business goals of the organization.
Talent Management Managing the complete recruitment life-cycle from sourcing the best talent through diverse sources based on
identification of manpower requirements for new / existing positions. Planning human resource requirements in consultation with heads of different functional & operational
areas, conducting interviews and induction programs. Monitoring the effective utilization of Manpower, retention of manpower & knowledge management. Creating multitasking workforce through Job rotation and Job enrichment.
Talent Development Preparation of competency and skill based training plan with allocation of In-house and external trainer to
meet the organizational requirement and individual development. Ensure execution of training as per organizational requirement. Developing internal faculties for conducting in-house training programs for cost effectiveness as well
enhancing skill levels.
Compensation & Benefits Wage & Salary Administration. Responsible for balanced Field Wage Settlement.
Statutory Compliance Responsible for Statutory Compliance, with various Governmental Agencies ie Employees Provident Funds,
Employees State Insurance, Bombay Shops & Establishment and etc. Efficiently managed closure and opening of related Statutory Compliance during relocation and merger of the
Establishment.
Performance Appraisal Facilitating employees in creating KPAs & KPIs, aligned with the business objective of the organization. Implementing Increment, Incentive and other Remuneration under Corporate policies. Managing Appraisal process across the levels and establishing framework for substantiating Performance
Appraisal system linked to Reward Management. Monitoring and facilitating for the performance review feedback of employees including their post review
feedback on developmental activities. Experienced and practiced Bell Curve Appraisal Method
Global HR Support to HR counterpart based at Germany to get aligned with Group HR practices. Managed and Handled the process of Expatriate from India to Germany.
