Project : SAR Payload Preparation Unit (SPPU)

Work : Simulation based real time scenario testing of Radar.

Description: Synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) is a form of radar which is used to create images of an object, such as a landscape. SAR is typically mounted on an aircraft or UAV, and uses the motion over a target area to provide final spatial resolution of the area. It creates the 2D higher resolution image of target area from the collected target returns. The target returns are a function of target slant range, target reflection property, platform motion and unknown random errors. The images as a function as function of target characteristics is formed taking into consideration all these factors. Payload Preparation Unit (SPPU) is required to generate different kind of stimulus.

Roles and responsibility:

Middle Layer Development on Vertex series FPGA, between Host PC and target device FPGA

Development of Qt based GUI to run the application interface

Implementation of various self test to test user interface and memory like uart,usb,ddr memory, SD card interface, DAC, clock synthesizer, FPGA

Work : An encryption and decryption card fpga processor based

Period : October15-december15

Description: The is Kintex-7 FPGA which is used for IP protocol processing and extraction and marking of the IP payload for encryption. The extracted data is passed to other FPGA (Artix-7 100T) for encryption. This

FPGA applies encryption to the incoming data and then returns back the encrypted data to Kintex-7 FPGA. Kintex-7 FPGA then applies again forms the IP packets, performs any fragmentation if required and

transmits the encrypted data over SFP+ interface. Achieved SPEED of 10g

Roles And responsibilities:

1. Handling network traffic using libcap librery, Generating and parsing pcap files for test purpose.

2. Generating test vectors using Linux scripting

3. QT based GUI DEVELOPING.

Work : FPGA based video processing card for encoding and decoding purpose

Language : C,CPPTools : QT CREATOR Description:This is the kintex7 processor based video processing card where data is capture via cam and

after processing encoded data can transmitted over HDMI and we can plot the wave form in GUI based on threshold level finding the center point of each video.

MTech Internship in DRDO July 2014: SOCKET PROGRAMMING USING TCP/IP

Details The projects aims at establishing connection between a PC and a FPGA

using TCP/IP and later communicate. First a GUI is designed using Visual

Studio 2010, which is used to send commands to the embedded board and

then a C program is written for the FPGA to receive, decode and act

according to the commands.
