Past Clients and Events: Mountain Dew South Africa: January 2013-June 2013

Mountain Dew is part of Series Beverages, Stretch’s biggest client which contains Lipton Ice Tea, Pepsi and Mountain Dew. Client meetings, CE’s (cost estimates) and recons ( costing’s post events) were just some of the responsibilities I was in charge of over the six months I spent at stretch marketing.

Lipton Iced Tea South Africa: January 2013-June 2013 Lipton Iced Tea is another big client that I worked with while at Stretch Marketing. They have an eighteen month campaign to launch the new flavors. My responsibilities included planning plett rage 2013 which happens in November, packing and organizing stock to send off to campaign launches in other provinces and going to client meetings.

Ultimate X Extreme Sports Event South Africa: February 16 th , 2013 The Ultimate X event at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town,

South Africa was the first event that I partook in during my time at Stretch Marketing. My responsibilities included anything from organizing stock to making sure the riders had their equipment on correctly. This event had 5,000 attendees and was the ultimate test of one’s multi-tasking abilities.

Mountain Dew Boot Camp Dew Tour South Africa: April 23 rd - May 10 th 2013 This campaign was similar to that of Ultimate X. It was another extreme sports event that Mountain Dew sponsored to get their name into the extreme sports field. My Tasks included arranging transportation for the ramps and riders in different provinces, insuring that everything was on site when it needed to be, organizing stock to make sure the correct amounts were at each university and when on site making sure everything ran as smoothly as possibly so that both the universities and client were happy.

Chevron South Africa: January 2013-June 2013Chevron wasn’t the best client to deal with while at Stretch Marketing as they

are tight on budget and not the friendliest but it was a good experience for the difficulties of customer service.

Chevron Ucount South Africa: January 2013- June 2013 This event was a trainee session for the internal staff of Caltex (Chevron’s

South African brand.) Was a very conference style event and tested one’s skill of simplicity and more complex events as well.

Whopping Rainbow Run Wapping, London: July 4 th 2014 The Whopping Rainbow Run is an event that Rainbow Trust Children’s

Foundation runs. I had the opportunity to do both the production and administration duties for this event while in my first month at the company. Although rather a small scale event, it was still successful with us raising a significant amount in addition to having Deutshe Bank and Helen Mirren being major supporters.
