How did I get Turner Syndrome?
•Not hereditary•Only 1/2500 girls is born with TS!
What does Turner Syndrome do?
•Short in height•Arms that turn out at the elbow•Large, low ears•Skin moles•Early adult teeth, early braces•Possible heart, kidney trouble
What is it like living with TS?•Growth hormone shots every night•Learn some things differently•Learn by asking questions•Trouble concentrating sometimes•Might take longer to understand some math problems
•People think you’re a little kid•Can’t eat anything with wheat in it (Celiac disease)
Otherwise I’m just like everyone else.
But there is one advantage…
