I would like to welcome Ashley Walters as our new Director of Recreation at Hillcrest Shadow Lake. Ashley grew up in Battle Creek, Nebraska. After high school she attended Wayne State College, where she received
her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. She moved to Omaha to complete her internship and was hired with the organization after a month. Ashley has worked in senior health care for more than five years. She recently graduated with her Master’s in Health Care Administration from Bellevue University. In her free time she likes playing volleyball, running, riding her motorcycle, traveling, going to concerts and spending time with family, her boyfriend and friends. Please stop by and introduce yourself to Ashley, which will help her get to know you and your family members here at Hillcrest Shadow Lake.-Kevin Sauberzweig, Administrator

Residents in Action Music therapy is an essential part of your recreation programming. Each month we have two-to-three entertainers that bring their love for music to us. We gather in the dining room to reminisce about the good old days as we listen to our favorite tunes. There is always toe-tapping, clapping and singing going on. We invite family and friends to join us for music every month.
