From January 27 through January 30, we had our annual state health survey and were found to be deficiency free. I am so proud of the Hillcrest Shadow Lake team for working together and providing quality care to the residents we serve on a daily basis. Does this mean we are perfect? No, but it shows that we are working toward doing what is right or correcting issues when they come up. Over the next year, our goal is to satisfy each of our residents and make them feel like they are part of our family here at Hillcrest Shadow Lake. We are now completely done with the renovation and all areas of the building are open. You will notice that the main corridor, which separates the front of the building from the back, now primarily consists of administrative offices. We hope this makes it easier for our families and visitors to find assistance if you have any questions about your loved ones. If anyone wants a private tour so you can see all of the renovations, please contact anyone on the administrative team. ank you, and we hope you enjoy and appreciate the changes made over the last 14 months. -Kevin Sauberzweig, Administrator e Shadow Lake Leer A monthly newsletter for Hillcrest Shadow Lake residents Kevin’s Column March 2020 March Highlights March 6: Music by Aaron Shoemaker, 2 p.m. March 11: Nature Talk with Debbie, 2 p.m. March 17: St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, 2 p.m. March 25: Birthday Party and Bingo, 2 p.m. March 31: Merrymakers Presents: Pam Kragt, 2 p.m. We would like to start distributing the newsletter each month via email in addition to distributing printed copies in our building.
