Requirements for External Visitors & Vendors as of August 25, 2020

Welcome to our community! In order to be on campus and to keep visitors and the members of our community safe,

you will be required to follow these practices and minimum requirements. Please note you must receive prior written

approval from your Bentley host (faculty, staff, department, or student organization that has invited you to campus)

prior to coming onto campus. If at any time you have questions about your visit to Bentley, please contact your host.

Bentley reserves the right to close the campus to external visitors if, in Bentley’s reasonable judgment, concerns for

public health or the safety of the community require closure.

Visitors shall not enter Bentley property that exhibit new or worsening onset of the following symptoms: fever (100

degrees or higher), difficulty breathing, cough, sore throat, runny nose, chills, muscle/body aches, fatigue, headache,

nausea or vomiting, or loss of taste/smell. Any visitor who has exhibited any of these symptoms must be free of these

symptoms for a minimum of 14 days prior to visiting.

Additionally, any potential visitor who has recently traveled internationally or to a high-risk state (as determined by

the Commonwealth of Massachusetts), or has come into recent exposure of a confirmed COVID-19 case shall be

restricted from entering the campus.

To help ensure compliance with these policies, all visitors will be required to self-monitor their symptoms by

completing Bentley’s Daily COVID-19 Checklist (also included in this document).

Visitors must follow all health and safety guidelines of the university. This includes consistently wearing face

coverings, utilizing hand sanitizer regularly, and maintaining a minimum of six feet of physical distance at all times

from others in addition to avoiding direct contact unless absolutely necessary while on campus property. While

Bentley is taking all reasonable measures to protect members of community, visitors to the campus acknowledge that

Bentley cannot guarantee that there will be no exposure to the virus and visitors accept that risk in choosing to come

onto campus.

Prior to departing campus, visitors will need to submit the following contact information to their host via email:

First and Last Name

Date of visit and duration of time on campus

Buildings Visited

Phone Number

Email Address

This information will be maintained as record by the host and will be used for contact tracing purposes if necessary. If

a visitor is confirmed to test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of their visit, they need to notify their Bentley host

immediately.

Thank you for complying with Bentley’s visitor guidelines and helping in our vigilant efforts to keep our community of

faculty, staff, students and visitors safe and healthy. We look forward to welcoming you onto our campus and into our

community!
